Beautiful luxurious hotel next to the beach - perfekt wedding location

We had our wedding there and it was perfect! The location is beautiful right near a beautiful beach. The room was well equipped with a comfy bad and an amazing shower. Even though there were many guests, there are always enough sunbeds on the beach and pool and seats in each restaurant. It doesn't feel crowded at all. The food was very tasty. The personell was mostly lovely and there is nice live music every evening

Sometimes the personell was not very flexible like they didn't want to give us an iron to iron our wedding clothes and they did not let us get sunbeds next to our friends from another room even though there were plenty empty.

Overall good but I would not say 4 star service.

Lovely sandy private beach.

Room were not met the expectation as it’s 4 star hotel and the services as well as no bath robe,no slipper, no tea coffee or kettle. And our room was advertised as has balcony and didn’t have a balcony. And restaurant doesn’t open during day time. For the price it was not that great apart from the beach area.

controversial feelings

I have controversial feelings about this hotel. There were a couple of things that upset and spoiled the rest. But firstly about advantages: + absolutely amazing beach and water. Crystal clean blue water, warm but fresh + very beautiful area, a lot of flowers and trees, perfect loan. Big respect to the gardeners! + good clean rooms (but there is one big issue with air conditioning) + very quiet and peaceful, there is no loud music, and you feel private even though there are a lot of guests in the hotel

- fist awful issue is air conditioning. It is very old and you wake up at night from the stuffiness because the air conditioner can't cope with the heat. - the refrigerator in the room was broken and stank badly. - food is bad. Breakfast is very poor and there is no variety, just an omelet, an egg, sausages, cheese, bread and cottage cheese, some vegetables and fruits. There are also pastries. - the restaurant is the main disadvantage of the hotel. Firstly, this is the only restaurant in the hotel and they exploit it. At lunch and dinner, they forgot to bring the dishes and drinks literally every time. Once we waited for a dish for more than an hour!! Once, we were charged twice for something that we did not order. Secondly, the prices are high, but they don't serve very tasty food, and there are only a couple of normal dishes, such as steak and seafood. But the pasta is very tasteless, the pizza is not what you expect in Italy. The bread was constantly served withered. I would advise the hotel to pay attention to the quality in the restaurant.

Really enjoyable stay at a beautiful hotel

* Staff being so helpful and friendly * The beautiful grounds * Pool was not crowded and no-one leaving towels out on sunbeds early in the morning. Was lovely to see! * The beach!! * Plenty of staff around

** I messaged the hotel via Booking.com to mention that our stay was to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. It would have been nice to receive a small surprise or mention of some kind. A bit more of a personal touch? ** Not too impressed with breakfast. -- did not like queuing to be served when most other hotels is a full buffet style -- there was not enough fruit -- not enough options with eggs -- not enough options in general (would have been nice to have a cooked omelette for example)

Sardinia is a stunning island with beautiful beaches. We'll be back!

A pretty hotel in a fabulous location right on beach. The beach itself if beautiful too. All meals at the hotel were good (we had half-board) and it was really nice to have served meals in the evening rather than the more conventional buffet style meals that many hotels rely on. The room was fine - much what you'd expect for this grade hotel - clean, large, comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe space and drawers, large ensuite shower, toiletries included. Staff all very helpful and kind. It was also really nice to have our own allocated sun shade and sun loungers on the beach for the duration of our stay - nice touch.

The air conditioning in the room wasn't particularly effective although it did take the edge off. We reported it but it seemed that this was the normal way it worked. It was also a little bit noisy but you get used it. The hotel was a little way out of the town of Villasimius and there aren't any local shops nearby the hotel (or at the hotel) for buying basics like sun lotion, etc. However, that said, there is a good shuttle style bus every hour into the town (and beyond) which only costs 2 euros per person no matter how far along the route you travel.

Lovely. Incredible beach; facilities a little dated but clean; friendly staff & excellent breakfast.

Lovely location, one of the best beaches in Sardinia with incredibly clear sea. Excellent variety at breakfast, delicious patisserie section. Room was spacious and clean. The set-menu at dinner was pretty good every evening. Nice piano-bar atmosphere post dinner and friendly staff. The free to use beach-volley and beach-tennis court was an added bonus.

The decor and facilities could do with a modern update, but the wilderness of the location more than makes up for it.

Great location on a lovely beach.

Great location right on an excellent beach. Plenty of space around the pool and having two sun loungers allocated on the beach.

On first impressions does seem a bit old fashioned and needs updating however it is comfortable and rustic in style

L’emplacement exceptionnel, la gentillesse du personnel.

Mauvais rapport qualité/prix du restaurant de l’hôtel. Pas de prix affiché pour le menu pour les « piu piccoli » (pâtes, hamburger, salade verte) et sans dessert qui finalement revenait au même tarif que celui des enfants entre 2 et 11 ans du menu principal à 37 euros. Alors que nous n’avions pas fini de manger notre dessert, le personnel remettait déjà en place la salle, ce qui est inadmissible pour un hôtel de cette catégorie (4 étoiles).
